The art of solving labour disputes

A systematic overview and practical recommendations for preventing and solving labour disputes.

 

Target Group:

all enthusiast who are dealing with employment relationships on a daily basis and wish to obtain greater self-confidence when solving problems related to employment relationships and to better understand the specifics of labour disputes.

 

Content of the training:

the participants obtain knowledge about the process of labour disputes and the training gives them confidence to make the right decisions in the event of real labour disputes. Labour disputes are not a rare phenomenon in Estonia. However, many labour disputes could be prevented or solved without the help of court or the labour dispute committee.
On 1 January 2018, a new Labour Dispute Resolution Act came into force, which specifies the previously valid rules and establishes new procedural rules in the labour dispute committee. The proceeding is more complex than previously and is more similar to a court proceeding.

-get an overview of the most important changes in solving labour disputes in the labour dispute committee.
